Support DPF's Work
Make a Donation
|
|
Disciples
Peace Fellowship depends entirely on membership fees and donations to
support its work. The DPF executive board works hard to manage
donations wisely. The Peace Intern program is our biggest cost,
accounting for over half of our annual budget expenses. Printing
and mailing the News Notes twice a year is also costly. Our other
major expense is our General Assembly program every two years.
We
need your help to keep our programs running. In recent years,
administrative and other forms of support provided by the national
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has been drastically reduced,
forcing us to assume more of our administrative expenses and to rely
more on volunteer support.
If you are not a member or if you have not renewed your membership this
year, please fill out the membership form and send in your annual
membership dues. If you are already a member, consider making an
additional donation. Your assistance will ensure that DPF can
continue to send interns to church camps and provide excellent
programing at the General Assembly.
Make checks payable to Disciples Peace Fellowship. You may send
donations to the address below:

Include DPF in Your Will
|
|
|
Consider
leaving a lasting legacy of peace and justice by including Disciples
Peace Fellowship in your will. The Disciples Peace Fellowship
Permanent Fund has been established to provide ongoing support to DPF's
ministries of peace and justice and to help guarantee that DPF will be
around for many decades to come. Interest and other profits from
the Permanent Fund are used to help support the Peace Intern program,
DPF events at the General Assembly, and the publication and
distribution of News Notes.
The Christian Church Foundation manages the DPF Permanent Fund and can
provide assistance with your donation.

The 2006 Peace
Interns with General Minister and President Sharon Watkins
"Peace comes from
being able to contribute the best that we have, and all that we are,
toward creating a world that supports everyone. But it is alos securing
the space for others to contribute the best that they have and all they
they are."
- Hafsat Abiola
