Founded
in 1935, the Disciples Peace
Fellowship is the oldest peace organization of its type in any
denomination. DPF is an independent organization within the
Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) that promotes peace and justice
by sending peace interns to church camps, publishing a quarterly
newsletter, sponsoring General Assembly events, providing
peace-related congregational resources, and taking action on specific
peace and justice causes. Our current peace and
justice priority is Promoting Options to War: Peace in Our World, Peace
in Our Communities. This theme will help to orient our spiritual,
educational, and advocacy programs over the next two years.
Become part of
DPF and join us in working for peace and justice!

As with many
non-profit organizations, we at Disciples Peace Fellowship
are facing declining revenues even as our expenses have been
rising.
We need your help to continue our work promoting an agenda for peace
within our church - sending out peace interns, providing peace
liturgies and curriculum, representing the Disciples at various justice
and peace organizations and events. If you are able, please:

"They shall beat
their swords into
plowshares,
and their spears
into pruning hooks;
nation shall not
lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they
study war any more."
